I am done with final exams! I can't think of the last time I was this happy to be done with classes. However, unlike most students, my summer is not quite my own. I still have 6 hours of "special problems" and "master's thesis" that I am signed up to take. That means at least 20hrs in the lab each week and more time at home writing and reading. I have a paper to get out and my master's thesis project to set up and pilot data to collect all before the end of August.
Good news is that my advisor, Dr.Arturo Hernandez, believes in taking time off! woo! With that in mind, Nathan and I will be going to Ukraine from June 3rd through the 26th as part of Let's Start Talking Ministries. We will be station in Bila Tserkva (red dot on map). It is about an hour south of Kiev, the capital. While in Ukraine, this blog will be all about God's work with the people their and our small role in that.
Our other major trip this summer is heading back to Colorado! This time we will be with the Wagners. We will be staying in Brecken Ridge from June 15th-20th. I look forward to cooler weather and white water rafting again!
